Ron Ward is the author of the Amazon best seller, The Dirty Side of Leadership, speaker, and founder and CEO of 4Ward Operations (Leadership Coaching). Ron has provided talks and training throughout the United States for various industry leaders. He is also the co-host of The Dirty Side of Leadership Podcast, which is in the top 5% of all global leadership podcasts.

Ron previously served as the Academy Director of the Federal Probation and Pretrial Services Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Charleston, South Carolina. Ron also oversaw the US Probation and Pretrial National Wellness Committee. As academy director, Ron was responsible for training all newly hired U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Officers, and the certification and recertification of the agency’s firearms, safety, and search team instructors.

He also served as Chair of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation Board of Directors (FLETA) from August 2012 through September 2014, which included all major federal law enforcement agencies in the United States.

The full-day extended session, titled, Masterclass in Leadership, consists of interactive training that delves into the characteristics of both effective and ineffective leaders and encourages participants to move from manager to coach. It explores ways to lead one’s self and lead teams with greater impact. This training culminates with participants engaging in a dynamic, realistic role-play environment to help them coach more effectively, engage in conflict resolution and provide evidenced based corrective feedback.
